from aem press releases i dont think its cuz they cant tap the ecu. its that its too complex for them to have a reprogrammer ready like that. the ivtec is wayy more complex than the old ocbd2.. or whatever it is

rpm redlines 7700-8200 somethin like that and increases torque by 4-6 through out the powerband? thats with an AEM CAI though!

shouldn't have said "tap". i meant "fully understand" and be able to manipulate our ecu. ya know, like plug and play user-programmable kinda shit.
I really don't know shit about ecu's but 600 bucks for a simple reflash is nuts. this has already been discussed a bunch but I am just really eager for a user-friendly program. (I don't even know the right words for what I'm tryin to say LOL) hope ya get my idea though

Does anyone know if "Doug"(Hondata guy) is back from Europe yet, last I heard he was across the pond promoting Hondata to the Brits with the CTR's. I need to know if he's back or not and I'm to lazy to call. I'm ready to order Hondata and I hear he's the only guy that can flash the ECU. So I dont want to order from a distributor and send my shit and have to wait to get it back for a month. No ECU/Immobilizer/Ignition Key means no go to worky. Anyone know anything?
