Does anyone know what the width of our rims is?I want to know what if 215 will work

I'm wondering if 215 tires will go on our rims. I'm sure 205 will, but I'm not sure if 215 will be pushing it

A 215 should fit alright. I think we have a 15x6 or 15x6.5. The new Nissan Maximas have a 17x6.5 and they run a 225 from the factory.

215's would probably be pushing it. Looks like I'll just stick with 205's. Thanks everyone

I run 225's, thats the max for 15 x 6, 215 will fit but not for 45 series and smaller. 215/50/15 will be fine, I checked the Kumho web sight and they list sizes and rim widths to match.

if you are going to race I would say 215, but you need to run 55 series, 205/50/15 is too small, even 205/55/15. you need to run 205/60/15 IMHO, with the large wheel opening 60 series would be better that running a smaller tire.

damn, I was wanting to step down to at least a 55 series with the 205's. Oh, well. I'll just look into some aftermarket rims. I don't think I want 17's anymore. 16's will probably be the biggest I'll go
