Can I use the buddy club body kit with no rebars?

Do any of you know if I can run the buddy club kit without rebars? I ordered a kit from a vender on ebay and the kit looks pretty good but I found out it is a jdm kit so it wont fit unless iI buy jdm rebar. I can install the kit without bumpers or buy the expensive jdm rebar.I dont know if this would be legal or not.Im guessing not a good idea.

the buddy club are actually bumpers correct. i believe you would need to either shave your rebar or buy jdm rebar for it to correctly. you can shave the rebars, but from what i hear its a royal pain in the arse.

the jdm rebar would be a great investment, i dont see how someone could jump in a car without thinking twice about having no rebar what so ever

i would strongly suggest picking up some jdm rebar...to choose looks over saftey is not a wise choice.

TRU TRU... i bought a jdm b/club kit and i won't put it on because i wouldn't be able to use the usdm rebars... chuck @ showstoppers has them for $290 a set shipped (funny tho, he told $130 and $140 respectively a few months ago)
i was trying to sell my kit because i didn't want to spend nearly $300 more to make it "safe", but that kit looks so good (already fitted/painted) i might just have to put those jdm rebars on the credit card... ;) damn things are EVIL you know?
