Ok, I know absolutly nothing about HID's. I just know a conversion kit would run about 400-600 bucks........


How come I see HID bulbs for like 6 bucks a peice? What so different between just switching the bulbs and doing the whole conversion......

Also, in that link above, they have different types of bulbs:

9004,9005,9006,9007,H1, H3, H4, H4h, H7

Does anyone else know what each of these types are? I am sure there are more people than just me wondering about this. Hopefully we can get some answers. Thank you for all who post.

The civic uses H4 bulbs. If you just buy the bulbs, then you will have a very hard time connecting them seeing as how there are no wires, ballasts, or other connectors that come w/ the rest of the kit. Let me rephrase that - w/o something to plug into (stock harness wont work) and no direct feed to your battery, there's no way JUST an HID bulb will work.

Hmm i wonder how my lights would look w/ 04' projectors...
