More Beefy tires on the stock rims

Just wondering who has tried a wider tire on the stock rims and what they thought.

I'm in the market for some tires also, and will probably base it on a consensus I receive here. Myever...sir, Bobdobbs recommended 205/55/50 ContiExtreme's. I posted to see what people thought about the Bridgestone Turanza's but didn't get much of a reply. Customer feedback re: Turanza's on Tirerack.com show they they are very good tires. I, too, am on stocks and am literally a click away from ordering Bridgestone RE950's from Tirerack. I want mid-priced, excellent wear, great wet-weather traction, and good cornering stability.
