    K20a2

And, in addition to the K20A2 (the 200 horse engine), I want the six--speed tranny, the 17" alloys and suspension that goes with them, the trick red interior, etc. In short, I want a Type R.

(And, no, I don't want an Acura S -- the Type R the Brits are selling is a superb car and it looks great.)

The other day, I saw a post from a Canadian which included a picture of a red Type R. If I thought I could get past Customs, it would almost be worth it to buy one in Canada and try to drive it home. Hummmmmm . . . I wonder if the Virginia DMV would notice a Canadian MSO :)

Its actually not that hard to do. Theres some paper work involved but nothing like importing a car from over seas. And you'll prolly pay a few grand less in CA!

Honda has unofficially stated as well as a few magazine sources that they WILL be importing the Type R EP Civic hatch in early 2004. Whether this will hold true as the months pass is hard to say but as of now they are optimistic. Lets hope so.
