Lightbulb G-Tech Pro on Ebay for $35....

This is a cross-post form another website, but I figured a few from the EP community might be interested in it as well :)

    G-Tech Pro on EBay

For about $40 shipped, it doesn't seem like such a bad deal...

Anyone get a chance to play with one? From what I've heard, they're decently accurate. If they are within a few 1/10's of a sec over true track times, it beats paying $15 every time you want to run your car on test 'n tune nights :D

It's more like +-.2, not .1, I've run mine at the track. It's nice to get a broad idea for your car, but by no means anywhere near as accurate on the track.

I don't know how the heck that could be so absurdly cheap, but I'm ordering it anyway.

Same here. Also, ditto what Adam said. Aren't those things normally
    like $200+? I don't get it. If it's not some fake-o model, I think
    I'll order one...

No. The original GTech (Pro) was only around $139 retail. It's replacement (Competition) retails for around 249. Once the Competition hit, the Pro prices dropped significantly. Too bad he's got 0 remaining, or I'd have bought one myself.

Edit: Nevermind. I found more of them for $36. :D

    Good find!

Although not as pretty as some newer models like the Passport G-Timer, and the Apexi Rev/Speed meter, that is a very good price!

It might even fit in that spot under the radio!

Anyone get theirs in yet/play with it yet?
Mine came in this evening, but I haven't had a chance to drive
around with it yet (it will be mounted in a Hertz Red 2003 Mustang,
    heh).

I plan on playing with mine finally tomorrow. Anyone know the weight of our car with 1 person (driver) in it? (160 lb.)

Honda has us at 2744 lbs. but that's probably dry weight. I guess it would be a good idea to add the weight you have in the gas tank too just to be safe ;)
