    Brighter headlights, how to coming soon

    I hate crappy lighting. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. I will be installing a relay harness soon to get some more juice out of the factory lights. I will have a complete how to written up for you guys. I have done this on all of my previous cars with exceelent results, stay tuned :)

    I did have this kind of harness relay on my Impreza before, it improved the brightness about 10~15%(stcok bulb).

    I would recommend using 80W/100W if you have this harness, then the output would boost up to 20~30% from stock bulb without harness.

    how much would the life span be shortened by? or maybe it would be insignificant to notice?

    since the suspension on my Impreza was very hard, so the bulb burned out within 6 months.

    (yes, the harshness of suspension is related to the lifespan of halogen lightbulb!!!)

    stock harness usually provides 10~11v, using relay harness directly from battery is to make sure it stays at 12v constatly.

    Then I bought Catz Zeta ballast for halogen bulb.

    well, it boost up 12v to 14.5v, it's brighter than the relay harness setup.
