Mine should be here today and will be put on tomorrow night with pics and before and after hp/1040 readings from Gtech thing-a-majig. Im pretty interested in how this works out now that there are two guys who have had relatively good experiences with two types of high flow cat/downpipes. Just something else to spend our hard earned dollars on, right Mr. Mod?:)

They seem to be on the ball as far as customer service is concerned. They just sent me confirmation that it has shipped. Should have mine in early next week. Looking forward to it.:D

I think I got mine the cheapest:

Don't worry, I did ask about the picture first, that's just a generic picture, I made sure it was EP3-specific.

i wouldnt think youd get a cel for the fact the o2 sensors are plugged in. I read somewhere, dont quote me, but a test pipe on our cars got like 5 or 6 hp. ill probably wait till spring and get one.

Well, from what bio has said and shown. They were smart about how they put this unit together. Effectively you are fooling the ECU and emissions by the arrangement of the sensors. The first one is exposed quite a bit to the flow inside the resonator. The second sensor is looking for a 'reduced' amount of pollutants and is nicely tucked away from the flow within, hence recording a reduced amount of pollutants. I don't know how long or how effective this setup is. The other solution to this is to incorporate an oxygen simulator to fool the sensor. That's more money. Hope they got it right. Time will tell who throws the first cel.

#1 O2 sensor reads raw exhaust (emissions), #2 O2 sensor reads filtered exhaust (A/F ratio and emissions?). Correct me and LMK.

I'm not sure but think that the cat #2 sensor does not care about Air/Fuel, instead the #1 sensor does that. Thought the #2 sensor just checked emmissions. Someone with the shop manual needs to chime in.:o

#1 is A/F (reads Oxygen content)
#2 is Heated Oxygen (reads Oxygen content)

But the manual reads that both do the same thing lol.

Say if you had the test pipe with both sensors clearly in the flow of the air, apprx. how long would our ecu's take to register this and throw a CEL?

Just as I thought, they both are looking at the same thing but need a differential reading to satisfiy the ECU. Seems simple enough to fool, and with the way its setup, how confident are you about it? I would have thought that because its the cat, they would have been more stringent than just oxygen content. Nice.

I can answer this with one point, sensors are only capable of reading what they are exposed to and if you expose them correctly they will respond at the speed of light. :D

Not 100% with it, cuz eventually, I think it might sense a to lean reading in #2, then the ECU will adjust to that and pump more fuel ?!?!?!
I might not do that, but it might. We'll see.
