    Waxing Wheels???????

well i got some 15"rs limited gunmetal wheels with falkens from adam a while ago. my question is if i can wax em???? ive heard of people doing this for added protection since its basically the same paint as on your car. i want to wax the lips as theyre polished and the clearcoat tends to flake off polished lips. thought it might help to keep em looking nice through the snow and salt if winter ever comes this year;)

Exactly....It will keep the brake dust off and make them much easier to clean. Just try not to use anything too strong to clean the rims as it will remove the wax...

best stuff i've found for waxing wheels is called wheel wax, you can buy it on tirerack.com or here http://www.properautocare.com/wheelwax.html

most of us race junkies use very high dusting pads and this stuff has worked for very well getting that dust and such off and making it much easier to clean them in the future.
