    DIY Mods?

    Does anyone have any good DIY Mods they would like to share?

    Hmmm....Let's see...

    - DIY LED interior switch over. I've redone all dash and gage lighting. Everything is now Red LED's in cluding al center console lighting, power window, side view mirror switch, etc. Under $25.00 in materials. Go on over to www.k-series.com and check out the how-to (under "technical") by Oceleris. Great looking mod. Just time consuming. Took me about a week to complete (~4-6 hours a day).

    - Some choose to change the colors of their dash/console/door panels. I personally like the stock interior. It's a simple mod. Just time consuming. Check out fsugatorbait's old ride in the member rides (the black SI, not the white one). There are also a few others that have painted panels to match the exterior color. If done right, it can look sharp.

    I'm sure that there are a ton of others that I'm missing....Just a few things I could think of at the moment.

    Here are a few DIY mods ive done...

    Painted valve cover red
    Painted interrior silver pieces red
    JDM style headlights
    JDM style tailights
    S2k start button/Hazzard relocated to dummy hole in dash
    Custom mounted components in hatch divider
    Tinted tailights and bumper markers
    Changed out door fabric to black suede with red stitching
    DIY ground wires

    EDIT: WOOT WOOT, now a member of the 1k post whore club. :D

    the 'kit' i bought off ebay came with instructions.
