    DIY headlights (Pics)

I used Dupli-Color AutoMotive paint. The color is Graphite Grey. IT looks gunmetal.

    Bumper taken off

Picture of the Engine bay. I know it dirty.

We mask the Housing. And spray paint it.

To get the covers off. Heat up the oven to around 350 degree. leave it on for about 10 mins. Then turn it off and throw the headlights in there. Leave it in there for about 15 mins and take them off and pry it open.

The type of silcone is made by Permatex. It called Clear RTV Silicone adhesive Sealant. I got the transparent one. Item # is 80855. you will need the Caulk gun for it.

I only use the Blow dryer to help dry up the paint on the housing.

niiice. Did you notice any difference in the way that the lights work? (are they not as bright or other projection problems?)?

Actually they look the same on the road. Because i left the main headlight part alone. But i also added Silverstar while i had the headlights off.
