04's are coming out. anyone changed their clutch/fly yet?

Im particularly intrested whether or not someone has put in a lightened flywheel.

I will be doing this next spring after hearing 02silversihb's situation with his tranny.

This is one topic I've rarely seen discussed.

I hate how our clutch pedal is so long. I wish there were more kick to it. The engagement needs to be sooner. Who else hates this?

I have a CM Stage 4 clutch and CN lightened flywheel. It's pretty good. :)

Yeah I'm interested myself. Did you do the work yourself or did you take it to a shop? I must say My old '02 1.8t VW & my current Ep3 have had the softest clutch engagement of any clutch I've had the pleasure of articulating, it's pitifully annoying at best.

I can't say what I paid since this was done as part of my sponsorship. I can say that labor will be fairly intensive and the parts aren't cheap either.
