I'd go with suspension. Blazing through the twisties > screamin' down the track IMO
Yea get it, it will be a good upgrade
No, it won't do much on the A3.
Currently I have i/e and hondata on my EP3 (motor mounts and hondata gasket too). I want to get something next and the logical thing would be a race header. I'm thinking of the Comptech since there are some horror stories/QC issues with the JR. Do you guys think this would be a worthy upgrade? Will I make decent power with the freed up exhaust? Or should I just upgrade suspension?
I'd go with suspension. Blazing through the twisties > screamin' down the track IMO
i've got 16x7 slipstreams, 225/45 avs es 100s, eibach prokits and type r rear sway. I'm pretty happy with the car's handling as it is right now, but considering buying a coilover setup instead of the race header. But more power is always more appealing:D
go w/ a suspension upgrade...i have the mugen kit and is exellent
Depends on where you wanna thrive, drag strip or canyon/twisties. Personally I would go for suspension, there are still stuffs you can add to your setup: shock, bars, brakes, etc
Well if you don't have to worry about emissions. get the header. I rather have the Comptech over the JR anyday. Plus you might have to get some o2 sims to take care of the CEL. I've spoken with nate at comptech and he says there seeing around 15 over stock.
Hmm, that's interesting because last I heard there was no dyno info for the race header on the EP3. I will be getting O2 sims, so that's not an issue. Now do you know if the 15 was whp or crank HP?
I'm sure it was crank, never heard of a header adding 15 to the wheels. still thats better than any header that I've heard of
the race header is adding about 15-25 whp to the k20a2 in the rsx-s...
