Quick Question - Plastic Spring Isolators?

I got some used progress springs and there was a note saying I should contact Progress and try to get some new ones because the ones included were worn out

wel, what the hell are these? i thought springs were jsut that.. springs..

if someone can give me some insight, i'd be more then grateful!

    thanks!

its an isolator plastic coil that wraps around the spring at points where it rests on itself when the car is down...stops the springs from clunking.....i have progress also and i would recomend putting the black stock plastic pieces on the coils onto the progress springs...the more you have the more quite they will be....the stock ones are glued on so pull hard and they come off easily.... good luck!!!
