I had a new short block installed by honda. How many miles should I put on this engine before installing my Greddy turbo .
I believe for a new car the owners manual say 600 break in miles. Honda has told me I need 3,000 break in miles. It is not that I don't believe Honda but I was wanting other opinions. Thanks for any help.

You could probably put a few thousand on in a few months, it could only help.

It's kind of a long story. I wont bore everyone. I currently have 2500 miles on the new short block. What does everyone think should I wait for the 3k mark or would now be o.k.?Originally posted by dtexan
