arr need help (tire and rim related)

Im thinking about getting rota c8's in 16s black with polished lip. Now the guy on ebay is willing to do a tire package but i dont know much about tires. Whats a good size for tires for 16" rims???
and which of the following brands are best for my needs. I do not race at all (daily driver), but drive the car pretty hard and id like something thats pretty cheap. Heres the following brands he could supply:
    Falken 512, Yokohama es100, kuhmo 712.
so all in all i just need to know size of tire for 16" and the brand for my needs.
THANK YOU ALL SO BLOODY MUCH:D :D :D

205/50-16 fits easy and works well. If I had to do it over again, I'd go 225/45-16 especiallly on 7.5" wide rim. Depending on wheel offset, 225/45-16 may rub.

Assuming you're going 205/50-16: Don't know about the Falkens. Between ES100's and Kumho 712's go ES100. Tire Rack did comparison test between 712's ES100's and Sumitomo HTR Z2's, ES100 did the best.

None of the tires will give you great wear, figure 25-30K for most drivers. Better choices for good performance and better wear would be Pirelli P7000 Supersport or BF Goodrich Traction T/A.

    Assuming you're going 225/45-16: Go AVS ES100.
