wiring harness colors

what's for what, all i know is the remote and the ground and 12v power, what color's is for the rest and to what, help yo!!!

what are you trying to do? Do you have an aftermarket reciever adapter?

just got me the deh p750mp and im trying to put it in, and don't know wuts, wut!

the rest ahould just be speaker lines + and -. should be eight of them. u also have remote antenna and illumination wires. been awhile since i installed my deck cant remember specifics. also have rca pre outs and antenna lead.

if u havent got one, go get the 15 dollar wiring harness and just match the wires from the deck harness to that one. each wire should be labeled and comes with schematic. sorry i wasnt much help;)

Exactly.....go to www.crutchfield.com and order it. Or, just hit up a local Walmart or Circuit City. Just don't chop up your stock harness so that it isn't a huge mess if you ever need to sell or trade it in and have to put the stock head back in.

yellow- 12v batt/memory
black- ground
blue- power antenna
blue white- remote/amp turn on
black white- amp ground
orange- illumination
orange white- dimmer
brown- phone mute

the rest are speaker wires
