Too much money lol.
just wanted to share with you guys some pictures from CES. this is phoenix golds new 10,000w amp! i bet you could run some 12's with it, probably around 20 of them!
heres some info from pg's forum
Last but not least, the thing you thought was a DSP is actually an amplifier with built-in DSP...you are correct that it is a big piece, but then again, have you ever seen a 10 KILOWATT amp before? The previous record holder for a car audio amp was the JBL/Crown 6000 watt amp. Our new MPH10K will eclipse this by 66% with 10,000 watts RMS. The MPH10K is a limited edition, built to order amplifier with a retail price of a buck a watt. (That's $10,000US, so I guess we'll have to call it the MPH20K in Canada ) It is a 4 channel producing 1250 x 4 at 4 ohms, 2500 x 4 at 2 ohms, 5000 x 2 at 4 ohms bridged, and will require approximately 1000 amperes of current. Yes, 1000 amps; no misprint...you don't want a shock from this amp!
At $1 per watt it still is a better deal than my ZPAs at ~$1.50/watt.Originally posted by Civicvtec1ps

There is absolutely no need for 10,000 watts!
OK, 9000 watts.........maybe...
But 10,000 watts is just outta hand!
Oh wow. 5000 watts x 2...I can't even imagine that. I was only pushing 150 x 2 through two twelves when I had them, and that was plenty for me. That would blow the hatch off.
That would be good with those Audiobahn 34" 5000 Watt Sub :D
that would be a great amp to power a 10 screen movie theater! for 5 channel, still averages 200w x 50.
