damn, NemesisITR..I was expecting more out of your car since you had hondata. On average, you are at 162HP at the crank:(

Although I wouldn't give up my Hondata flash, Hondata really needs to remove those charts on their website for the A3. Very misleading. I want to try and hit 160whp with my mods but it doesn't look too likely. :(

ya, i was really disappointed. I was expecting much better. The added acceleration must be 100% gearing.Originally posted by danoonez

I will probably save my income tax and try to find a type s motor to build up.
yea the A3 blows and hondata's charts are a scam:'(
I wasnt expecting the Hondata to give me HP. It is only optimized with cold air, header, and exhaust. I have a fucked up intake and custom exhaust. My hp should be better with a better intake and header. Hondata just raises the rev limiter and when you shift at the higher limit you are at a better rpm in the next gear. Plus it all depends on the dyno too.
I wanted the Hondata flash cause I needed more rpm for the road course and im not going to buy an A2 head. Id rather save my money and by dc5r motor that comes with tranny and lsd for a couple more thousand.
I'll redyno when i get the intake. Not sure when ill get it and when ill get the header too.
yea I was shocked that NemesisITR got those #'s, I got on the dyno 145hp and 128tq with aem cai, dc header, custom exhaust(R1 muffler with flowmaster 2.5 pipe) and a skrewy head. Need to get it worked on or get an A2 head.:'( ;)
did you DFW guys get a group rate on dyno time?
3 pulls for $50. Normally it's 3 pulls for $80Originally posted by Tenacious G

good deal on the dyno time
If I'm not mistaken, didn't they show a substantial gain with just Hondata alone on their website? At least that's what they advertised for the RSX. But then again, your intake could be messing things up. You wouldn't happen to have a baseline dyno for your car, do You?Originally posted by NemesisITR

btw, I have to see this ultra-gutted car of yours. How much does it weigh now?
I can only hope I hit these numbers, we are dynoing next month...Originally posted by SpoonEP3
my max was 160.1whp and 130.2wtq
and my mods are hondata ecu, hondata intake manifold gasket, trust short ram, and custom 2.5 cat back... and it was two days after an oil change, 91 oct. gas with oct. booster... my 1/4 was 14.86 t.s. was 94.65mph... i guess that my car is pretty fast with a K20A3
Hondata/I/H/E/MM/SUS
these numbers where achived with the intake and exhuast mentioned only? did you dyno with the hood closed or open? same dyno as the rest of the guys in this post right?Originally posted by dtexan
My numbers were
Max Power = 148.71 Max Torque = 129.02
I wonder if he had the silencer in the exhaust like !@#$% if his numbers would have been higher. The K&N intake sounded really good more of a deaper tone compared to the rest
The dynos were done with the hood open and a fan blowing on the engine. Everyone at the meet used the same dyno for all the runs
Hey sry it took so long to respond, just got the net working again..anyways i have a couple dyno vids and i should have them up in awhile, for the mean time here is my VSV dyno
I wish I had dynoed what dtexan dynoed with just intake/exhaust:D hehehe. SubliminalSi did you have a dyno vid of NemesisITRs?
