    Clutchmasters and Phantom- Grip LSD

The Silver Boosted Hatch is being sponsored by Clutchmaster's and Phantom-Grip to show everyone how potent these K-series cars can be.
Clutchmaster's has offered me a stage 3 clutch and a 2400lb pressure plate. This will solve all slipping issues. The Phantom-Grip LSD is courtesy of John Brown(Phantom-Grip) a major player in the big leagues of Drag Racing and also a good friend. We all know our cars are in desperate need of traction and this should be an incredible combination. I will keep everyone informed on the progress as it will probably take a week or so get get it all accomplished. Many thanks to South Florida Performance for doing all the dirty work.

You'll have to keep us updated on how you like that Phantom Grip.
The whole idea just screams "short term use" to me, but if it works,
    it works.
Keep up the sweet upgrades...you bastard!!! ;) j/k

Yeah. A friend said that most people on Hoinda-Tech who have used it refer to it as the "Random Grip" because of it's poor performance/reliability :p

    Talking

Oh yeah! That's what I'm talkin about! I love the new set-up.
Phantom-Grip matched with a Clutchmaster's Stage 4 clutch and pressure plate. What a difference it makes. I don't feel any torque steer anymore at all. I am putting out over 300hp to the wheels and am having no issues what so ever. I will be going to the track as soon as I get a set of stock brakes up front so I can run on slicks. I will keep everyone posted.

Great goodies there! I want to see a how to on the Phantom Grip to the 5 and 6 speeds of the K-series trannies, I've seen it done on older trannies. Phantom Grip would be a great, cheaper priced, alternative to the JDM LSD.

Talking 1000 miles on Phantom-Grip and counting!

I ordered the front brakes today(rotors, calipers, and pads). So, as soon as they are in place, it's off to the track. I will definitely call you and let you know. We are waiting for the axles to be made, so it may be two weeks or so before I'm ready. I don't feel like breaking axles again(remember those days). I may do a few light passes before then though, we'll see. Thanks again:)

I went back to stock. I can't get a slick on the car with a big brake kit.

    Clutch

I am not sure if anyone else noticed. But is it a Clutchmaster's Stage 3 or Stage 4? You put 2 different ones down
