    Question What Sub?

I cannot decide witch sub to get. I have it narrowed down to a Kicker 12" L7 or L5. I have a Precision Power 4125 amp that will send about 500 watt RMS to a sub. I will be loading the sub in a ported box and I don't know if I have enough power for the L7 or if it is even worth the extra money for the L7. What do you all think?

Get the IDQ's, the best sub for sq, price and small enclosure. Had one in my last car and loved it so much that it is now being used in my home av setup.

I had an old 120-volt subwoofer, Sony 200 watt 10 inch. Let my friend use it for a weekend, I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN, and returned it with a blown sub. :'(

Had the box and amp in my garage and since I took everything out of my old car I had an IDQ 12 not being used. Since I had a perfectly good home amp and a good subwoofer decided to put them both to use. Luckily the Sony amp/sub was a 4-ohm system and was the perfect amount of power for the sub. Took out the winISD software and designed a good curve. Built the box, mounted the amp and sub. Viola a subwoofer that sounds better than any BB or Good Guys sub for free!

You didn't think I would say "I hooked up my car battery with a trickle charger on it" now did you:D
