the curb gnomes got me!

so i'm pulling out of the gas station yesterday afternoon, giving it a little gas, but apparently turned a little too much, a little to quick. i hear a thud, and i thought i had hit one of those concrete pillars at first, but when i looked in the rear view, there was only a curb. so when i got back to my apartment, i checked out my rear-passenger side wheel, there's a nice 1/2"x1/3" gash on my OEM wheels.

you know, i thought i would have had the car for a little longer before the curb gnomes got me. time to start calling around about refinishing.

damn i hate that when it happens. it turns my day into a bad one. i just want to go in the house and stay there the rest of the day.
