    camber kit labor?

    How much does it cost to have the front and rear camber kit installed? I got a quote of $130. Is that a fair price or they're over charging me? He told me he needs two hours labor, one hour for the front and one hour for the rear. Also I got the spc camber kit but on the order slip it says Rsx '02 and up. Dose the ep3 and the rsx used the dame camber kit? Part#60120. Guys shed some light in here.

    Thanks

    Where'd you get that quote from? You might want to check your local Firestone (or any other alignment place)...also, a joe schmo shop might do it for you for a lot cheaper...check around for the best price on the install man! Good Luck!

    130 = 2 hours of shop labor @ 65

    65/hour isn't bad at all. and 2 hours is a decent estimate, although it should take a good mechanic 1.5 hours, but they typically charge by the full hour.

    the rsx & ep3 use the same rear camber kit. they may also share the front camber kit, but you have to measure the front bolts. make sure your mechanic measures the front camber bolts, if you have 14mm bolts, you need the kit that is for the 2001+ civic, if you have 16mm bolts, you need the kit that is for the 2002+ rsx.

    That price seems reasonable, try DIY.
    You will save cash..
    Rsx camber kit will fit on ep3.
    Both uses 16mm front camber replacement bolts and identical rear camber kit.

    $60? what the @#%^&? Maybe I should shop around more. I'm not worry about the alignment at all because the dealer owe me one and Townfair tires owe me one too. Thanks for the help guys. Ephatch.com is awesome! Happy Valentines day to all...

    the front- you take out a bolt and put a new bolt in. its as easy as it sounds.

    the rear- take out the stock arm and put the new arm in. 3 bolts with 17mm head i believe and one more like 10 or 12mm for a brake line.

    it shouldnt take you more then an hour to install yourself. then just take it to the alignment shop and they have the bitch job of adjusting it to spec. hope this helps

    You could sleep your way through the install in less than an hour for front and rear.

    ya just DIY. it only took me like an hour and a half using the stock jack and no air tools. Most of the time consists of taking on and off the rim. Even tho the shop can do it in an hour its still not worth paying $60.
