    Hondata + Dry Kit

Dont know if any of you saw this thread yet over at clubrsx but check it out:

As long as you have bigger injectors to deliver the fuel and...

As long as it is tuned with safe ignition and fuel values.
    DOUG:
The Programmable ECU does several things

    1) Switch the nitrous on
    2) Retard the timing
    3) Add fuel
    4) Switch the nitrous off beore the redline

The nitrous delivery is programmable for :
    - RPM
    - vehicle speed (so it doesn't activate in 1st or 2nd gear for example)
    - Air pressure (so it comes on only in boost for example)
    - Throttle position

So, this is nitrous done safely.

Yup, they mentioned they did this in their "300whp+" dyno stuff.
I think there was a thread on it here.

Very cool, though. Mainly because we now know the k-series
programmable unit exists and is working correctly. Now, I just need
to dig up $500 more and get a n20 kit...heh.

I wish I had $1000 to blow. Do they just rework the stock ecu and put a blue cover on it, or is it a piggy back?

Good question. This is from their site:

Q: Why sent the ECU to hondata ?
A: We have to modify the ECU in order to install the daughter board inside the ECU, plus we have found that installing and checking everything works here can save the owner a lot of frustration getting everything to work. We have not finalized how we will upgrade ECUs for European users but ideally we would get the ECUs modified locally to save freight & customs dues. This raises some warrantee issues since some of the soldering inside the ECU is tricky.

I'm sure it's just like their old b-series programables. Extra motherboard and usb cables coming out to program with.

This is a very cool thing. With the Hondata, you will be in total control of the nitrous. I plan on doing both programable Hondata and nitrous in the near future. I'll still run a wet kit just to insure enuff fuel is there.
