Now you are done with the install, go for a slow test drive and make sure the pads are working well. If you notice while doing the install that your rotors are warped, take them to somewhere like autozone to have them resurfaced, it's cheap, only like 10 at the most for each

nah, I kinda wish I had, but I didn't because I visually checked them and to my surprise, they were clean. I felt them and no warpage at all. I love these pads man! They feel great. I thouhgt I saw you tonight in your garage? I was driving buy testing the car, almost stopped by, but Sandra is in that mode where she wants me around a lot.

LOL, didn't you notice it was blinging today :D I waxed the fucker for hours last night. I did the three step mequires (spelling ownz me) polish and wax. That shit is awsome! :D

2 Questions for ya.

1. Do you re-install the factory shims or do the Hawk pads have their own?

2. Instead of using the c-clamp to push the caliper cylinder back, could you use vise grip to hold the caliper cylinder in place once you flip the caliper up?

1. yes
2. The c clamp was to push the piston back in...this way it will go back over the new pads. the new pads are going to stick out further since they are new, so if you leave the piston where it is, the caliper won't go over the pads. That's why you need a c clamp and the stock pad. it pushes the piston back in, allowing you to put the caliper back over the pads. The c clamp was never used to keep the caliper up, the caliper will stay up on it's own...look at the pics again ;)

Thanks for that, I kept trying to press the rear calipers in like I did the fronts, and couldn't firgure out what I was doing wrong, haha.
