    springs and nuts?

can i use my 2001 tanabe springs to a 2004 EP hatch (planning to buy)? the springs and shocks (stock) looks very similar? and does the 2004 EP hatch really comes with 5 studs? can i request to the dealer to make it 4 studs for me to use my 4 stud magwheels or will i just sell them and buy a 5 stud? thnx!

Holy noob-ness. Welcome to the board. ;)

I wouldn't use those springs on an ep3. The spring rate is probably
off. Besides, you can get ep3-specific springs for well under $200
(Tein S Techs, a popular choice, are something like $140) that won't
blow your shocks after a few months.

Yes, the 2004 Civic has 5-lug wheels/hubs. So your old wheels
wouldn't fit. Sell those and get a set of 5-lug wheels. You could
convert back to a 4 lug setup, but why? Too much time and effort. Unless
your wheels are $20K apiece, don't bother.

Actually one small correction to andy's post: The S-Techs are not EP specific, so you may want to use those at your own risk. I believe something like Eibach SPortlines or Progress springs (which are EP specific) would be a better choice.

I currently have the S-Techs, and they are far too soft.
