    are falken ziex's crap?

i just read that falken ziex's arent even as good as our stock michelin's?? is this true? cuz i did research and i was told that they were good tires. if they arent any good, then i am going to be VERY disappointed, cuz i wanted a nice performing tire. they seem to be alot stickier than my stockies just from driving with them recently. please any info would be VERY helpful.

BTW: i have 205/50/16 on my rota slips

they'll perform okay for a street tire, they are made for wet or dry roads...so they won't be all that sticky. They should feel better than stock because of the more responsive side wall you have and they are slightly wider.

well i was reading in a previous thread about how they are no good and they just 'economy performance' tires. and the guy said that they are just crappy tires with a performance tread and that th michelin's are better?!

now, maybe its just me, but i paid about 90 bucks i think, give or a take a few dollars, per tire for my falken's and i dont want to pay that much again if they are just crappy tires. thanks for the replies people!

You have those tires already. How do they perform for you?
    EVeryone has different opinions.
I think 512s are great all season tires for price.

To be honest, I'm not super impressed but they are much better than stock. Just about any 50 series tire is going to be better than a 60 series tire.

i think they do very well for the price and definitely compared to stock they ARE BETTER. i did a little spirited driving tonight and they held up fine through everything i put them through. thanks for the feedback guys.
