II'm feeling a difference in response.

Actually, this is probably the normal way the car should run, and with the regular 87 octane I put in, I wasn't experiencing this, now I am.

Yeah, high octane gas is overkill for the most part but you can feel it when you need it...put it in when you plan to race...run 87 for going to work and back or long road trips. Just my $.02 worth. :)

Before there is any more octane talk, you should be directed at this thread... which I was sure that everybody on this board was a part of at one time or another. :)

    High Octane

My understanding is that high octane is a benefit for high compresion engines (ie RSX-S or CTR), for performance benefit. But I also understand that it does run cleaner with higher octane.:o

    Thumbs up

Did the octane boost today, with 94 octane, it rocked! Where it was really noticable was during highway cruizin, accel was alot more responsive during passing.

    cheers.:D

Yeah its worth it but not all the time. I've used it occasionally in every car I have owned and there has always been a noticable difference.

So you have 96 at $1.50 a gallon and I'm paying $1.75 for 93? How's that happen? You live 3 hours north of me?

No offense, but are you in the boonies?
