    Strut Bar Brackets????

    how the hell did u guys get those brackets to fit? they are the right ones, they are just a slight bit off. did u guys have this problem?

    it wont fit completely over the back of the rear bolt. i even resorted to beating it on lol, but im afraid it will mess up the threads on the bolt. i dunno

    Do you think you could bend it a little? I guess you get what you pay for, but mine did fit okay.

    It's pretty pliable metal so you might be able to curve it just enough to get it over the rear bolt. I would try using a vice and tapping it with a mallet. Be careful not to crack it or anything to make it unuseable.

    If this seems like too much work, get a drill bit that is just 1 size bigger than the hole, and widen it out, this should allow it to clear the rear bolt.

    i just took a small file and carved it out. kinda ghetto, but it works now. thanks for the info guys
