    Relocating Stereo

I am thinking of relocating my stereo from the center to the passenger side (above the glovebox and below the airbag). Does anyone know if there is enough space (depth wise) for a single din stereo to fit? I will have to fabricate something to replace the shelf that is currently there.

ahh sweet sounds good...ive felt behind there a couple times, it does appear to have enough space, because it hits some reinforcements and ducting but than again i could be wrong.

if youre using a single din sized fold out screen, you could fit both your monitor and cd player in the factory location. the factory hole will fit 2 din or 1 double din sized unit(s). most double din sized monitors now almost always have a built in cd/dvd/mp3 player so you wouldnt have to reuse your other cd player.

its true that i could just buy the right equipment to make it all fit in the double din space, but this is more fun. That is why i have this car...its to tinker around with (and commute)
