I am by no means a car guru, but theoreticly, if you cut the majority of the air to the engine bay and to hte radiator, it will run hotter.
How hot? Try it and let us know....
I dont know if anyone remembers the custom upper grill I made, but no body really liked it. Well, its been a while and I am not that fond of it either. So... I was thinking about just fiberglassing over the whole thing, so that it is a solid insert. What do you guys think? Will this affect the cooling for my radiator?

here are some initial pics. i am trying to decide if i like it before i finish sanding and painting (i threw some krylon on there just to give a better representation)
here are some pics of the grill in its first stage. i painted it with krylon to see if i like it before i sand it and finish it.

clean look but i think that would drastically reduce airflow into our already hot engine bay. Maybe have an overlapping split in the middle, like a venetian blind?

not a good idea.
from a cooling standpoint.
