get a turbo if you want tons of power
ok i know there have probably been threads on this before and i appologize, but i was wondering, which would be better? a Turbo or Supercharger....
i want to have the most hp i can get, and they're both relatively the same price, if i go turbo would i have to have anything else for it to work properly? or is there any specific parts i'll need to buy for it to work as well. is the turbo timer helpful? or pretty much not necessary for a while down the road. and how much about would it cost for install?
i would prefer something that wouldn't require a ton of maintenence thats why the supercharger is somewhat appealing, but i kinda like the power gains shown from the turbo, are there any changes i could make to reach about the same hp as the turbo? about how much would it cost for the install of this ?
thanks for any help i can get!

turbo if you are looking for lots of power SC if you are looking for no worries.
will i have a lot of worries with a turbo?
whats the best brand to get? greddy or cybernation?
as long as your not a dumb ass you will be cool I am new to the game I just ordered my greddy kit but from what I understand its all about what you want. All the kits are good I was torn between CN, Greddy for a long time.
oo ok cool thanks, i've always been N/A on my previous cars so i really am unsure of what i want, besides tons of power and i want a kit that will give me the most gains, i want to be between 230 and 350 hp so what ever can do that, is what i want :)

Better get that wallet out if you plan on going stage 2.
well i have about 5000 left from buyin the car, so i can go with that, or stage 1 and some other stuff
if i do turbo does that mean i won't pass state inspection ?
over 230 hp?!?! plan on CN stage 2 ... new clutch ... lsd ... bigger brakes ... that's a lot of dough.Originally posted by Echelon

and what lsd clutch and brakes should i look into?
the ACT clutch kit maybe?
If you go with the Cybernation you will not pass, unless you have a hook-up. Cybernation = no cat.Originally posted by Echelon

eesh that might not be good...i didn't know that...is there any way i could put 1 on and still get good boost? or is it just not possible at all? or not even worth it
granted my friends dad is a mechanic and he'd hook me up, i could always do it that way

Although I'm talking out of my ass since I have not had any experience with it ... the best bang/buck is the rsx-s brakes which require the 5 bolt conversion ... search around, there are a couple of guys who have done it.Originally posted by Echelon and what lsd clutch and brakes should i look into?
