    AEM vs INJEN

    hey evryone. i was wondering which gives more horsies. anyone have any dyno results comparing the two? thanks

    Its a pipe with a filter. How much horse do you expect? How much can you do to an air filter? My judgement is that AEM and Injen give the exact same results. Go with what pipe you think looks better and what name you like.

    there are only two differences in the AEM and Injen intakes. the first one is that AEM coats theres with a anti-heat element and Injen does not. However this coat has not been proven to help any at all. the second reason is that its just personal preferance.

    how much horse do u think an cold air or like short ram will give our SIs? ive read somewhere that this injen intake gave an SI 15 horse power... is that rite?

    Did anyone ever figure out what that popping noise was that seemed to happen to people with the AEM CAI???

    Also, anyone with an Ingen hear a noise like this?

    i know that on the RSX-s, the AEM CAI pipe got in the way of the shifting linkage and made that popping noise and made it kinda hard to shift. Maybe thats the same issue.

    if so: to resolve, rotate pipe to give best clearance.
