its not like you really have to look at the 5 or 6 speed pattern on top to shift correctly. i say if it feels ok in your hand while shifting... thats the only things that really matters.

My car came with the base RSX shiftknob and I was hella pissed. I marched my little toosh back in the Honda dealer and said WTF!!!?? I was looking at the Brochure and this isn't the red stiching shift knob!? Why didn't mine come with it? They said... Oh yes sir, those do come with it.. some of them. I said B.S.! Ephatch members said they all got the red stiching and thats what I want! So they ended up giving me the correct one and took the Base RSX one back. I was so happy to not use that rubber shift knob piece of garbage!! :-) The red stiching one feels so good. makes me want to go to the bathroom and do some funky stuff. J/K!!! :-) About the bathroom and funky stuff part. TEEE HEEE.

I like the look of this knob, it's made by Ichibahn. Sort of like a short stubby version of our stock knob. Anyone tried it?

I was just thinking about how I keep grabbing the side of the stock shifter to shift, meaning my errors in shifting are invariably downshifting when I want to up shift.... sounds familiar?

So I'm going try to relearn to always shift by grabbing the top, palm down... error=upshifting too far, hopefully.

So whats so wrong with the stock knob? I like the ichibans, Tom3...

i got a razo 400g black leather with red stitching that i love.. i dont have any pics but its like a gs-r knob shape but leather with bright red stitching matches my interrior perrrrrfect.. im prob. gonna get a type r black leather with red stitching boot soon.. the stock knob is like a broom handle in my opition..too long and feels to much like holding a stick
