yea it would be alot cooler if they made it into a functional sunroof...like just a latch to prop it up. if they did that....id so buy one

How are you planning on doing it on the EP? It doesn't look like there's an application.

EDIT: Oh, duh. They'll do a custom plug.

If it has to do with racing, it's not ghetto.

My body guy said it would all disappear with $$$. Until then I decided it looks no different than the big black hunk-o-glass I never open. I'll just paint the visible screw side black.

    I'm sure they'll do it for $400

cool idea for a c/f whore i guess. i dont know what it would look like on an EP though... hmmm... somebody needs to try this out! and i agree w/ the screws (kinda ugly and unfinished looking). but then again, for the weight reduction... who does weight reduction for looks?

to be able to shed that kind of weight would be great. but i'd be wary of the fit and finish. let us know if you get any squeaks, rattles or wind leaks or something along those lines.

I'll be using a really hardcore sealant & the gap will only be 1/16" all the way around. I plan on painting it later so it will look like no sunroof ever existed. The seal will then be done with a color matched sealant (my ex will get grey, the Si is fine with the regular black stuff) I already ran all this by my body guy and he said go get it. He knows how anal I am about seams, waves, alignment, & flushness of anything I add to my cars so I trust when he says "It will be perfect)

Again I agree about the screws but you can paint them black be fore install & I have already decided to spend the $$$ to do it the full on way. For to me to save this weight is worth it.

BTW, You can leave your factory headliner and roof slider thing in!

    I'm guessing it'll look a lot like a CTR's roof.

I could DIY with Carbon if I thought I had the skills & patience to match the curve of the roof & have a perfect 1/16" gap all around. These guy guarantee(spelling:() "Perfect Fitment"
So to me it's worth the $400.
