as far as rusting, they look to be nickel plated. this box of screws cost me 10 bucks at home depot. they didnt have any self tappers in the single bins.

i'll end up painting over the screws with touch up paint more than likely. i just marked where i wanted to drill with an indention, then drilled with the screw.

oh now i get it sorta
so you indent where you want to drill
then drill through with the self tapping screws
then paint over with touch up paint for no rusting...
    is that correct ?

yep, that is exactly how i'm doing it, and so far the front lip isn't coming off unless m y entire bumper gets ripped off.

hell yeah it's light...I can barely tell it's in my hand when I carry it....very light, most likely lighter than fiberglass.

the heaviest part to the ctr lip kit is the rear. It has a type of double layer on it. I'd say the entire kit weighed at most 15 lbs. That was the marked shipping weight, but also it is the lowest category for shipping weight. In all honesty, I'd say 10 lbs maximum for the weight of the whole kit.
