That kit looks like its 8k. The camera isnt going to change the color of light its capturing. You either got an 8k kit or just turned on your lights.

my shitty cam is making it a bit more blue.. i was suspicious if they sent me the 8k kit by accident. but i figured what the hell i'm really happy with them and they light up the road a 120% better. So 6k,8k or 10k i love them. :D

It looks like you got the 8k kit. Your camera didn't have any effect on your friend's headlights, except for maybe making them LESS blue looking. If you're happy with them and don't get pulled over, that's all that matters.

It looks to me like it's the camera's fault that the colors are so off. Nobody's headlights are as red as the Accord's in the comparison pic, and things just look a bit off in the other pictures as well.

    6K is probably right.

HID's are not street legal anymore right? I thought the only way the could be legal is if they are OEM. I would love to get HID's if they were legal.

The reason they are not street legal in the US is not simply because they are retrofits, as long as the are self leveling(to prevent blinding someone if you hit a bump in the road) they are legal in the US and Canada. It is illegal to sell any non self levelling kit in the US

So are any HID's legal then? My PIAA's went out and I can put $50 into a set a bulbs that I will need to replace in a year or I could put it in a HID kit.
