My Kenwood HU sounds like shit installed

I have a Kenwood KMD x92 Mini Disc HU. It was taken from my previous car. When I installed it in my EP3 it sounds like shit. It sounded Great in my old car. The treble doesn't sound as strong and the bass is weak as well. The stock HU sounds so much better. I was wondering if I can run the stock tweeters from the amp to make the treble stronger or will I blow them.

Does anyone know a cheap fix?

well what amp do you have? Dose your deck have speaker settings? you have to look in the manual my last kenwood had speaker setting that when set to mid bass the front speakers had little high frequencies. i would look at the settings, sometimes the deck has to turned off brefore you can change settings. like turn the power to it on and turn the deck off. now go to MENU and look for speaker settings. my kenwood Z828 had it.
