    wheel and tire size

anyone know if i can put 205/40zr-17 wheels and tires on my 2003 Civic Si without screwing up my computer? The new Super Street has a list of recommended sizes but does not list this one.

According to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html , 205/40-17's will be read as 3.1% too fast when compared to the 2002-03's 195/60-15 tires. That is, an indicated 60 mph will instead be a true 58.1 mph.

It would be a hair easier to stay clear of speeding tickets, but it's still a bit off. Bump up to 45-series tires (205/45-17) and the speedometer error will be barely noticeable (0.2% too slow).
