The same exact thing is happening to me!!!! Do you think honda would fix it?
I was driving around today, and i usually rest my hand on the e brake and i noticed there was a ruff spot on it. I looked down and saw the crome was chipping! wtf!, is there anyway i can fix it or keep it from doing it more?

Its funny I come here and see that this is the first post I see. I noticed mine doing the exact same thing. I'm sure that little piece isn't too expensive though. If it starts getting on my nerves too much I'll do something about it.

PS- if worse comes to worse, chrome spray paint. no biggie...
sucks for me, i just passed my warranty at 36,000 miles. Mine is chipping too! DAYUM i forgot abuot it!:yellm:

isnt it odd that soo many are people having the same problem. odd i thinks. i too am having chippage issues with the e brake
I remember reading the other post about it and mine wasn't chipping but now it is :sadm:
mine was chipping almost right when i started using it. i went to honda and they'll fix it. if you're under warrenty...thank god i have 60k warrenty...i can come in for whatever...it's just waiting there is a biznatch
mine started chipping like a few days after i got it...didn't think nothin of it..but hey, if they will replace it under warranty then yay...
mines chipped like half way and im only at 9000miles
mine chiped and my the dealer fixed it for me under warantee.. its good as new now
POS chrome sticker/plating!!! whatever it is its low quality =-(.
