Rear 22mm Comptech swaybar only $99

I just recently went looking at RSX suspension parts and noticed that Comptech offers a 22mm rear sway bar for only $99, cheaper than most rsx-s and type-r rear sways. The only drawback is that it says that it fits all RSX's but does not mention the Si specifically, but it should fit right?

They also offer a rear tie bar only that is $59, but in the description it states for the type-s only and that it replaces the factory steel brace, would that fit our cars?

Why then when you could buy both pieces separately for $160 would someone want to spend $399 on their combo?

Yeah if it's for the RSX it will bolt right up to the ep. I have the RSX-s rear sway (19mm) on mine right now. Why is this so cheap?

so if you just get the tie bar you have to drill?

but if you get the sway and tie no drilling?

In order to fit comptech low tie bar, needs drilling.
If you buy Progress, Comptech, Neuspeed sway bar combo.
It will be bolt on swap.

Lower tie bar that doesn't need any drilling.

Check out Neuspeed low tie bar install.(Needs Driling)

So what tie bars are available that don't require drilling? I already have the CTR sway bar ...

    Thanks!

That is the non-adjustable combo, the adjustable combo is $699.

So the only advantage is not needing to drill, is that worth $240?

Tie bar that comes designed specifically to fit with the sway bar definitely works better than the many tie bars out there. A tie bar does the same thing, it stiffens up the rear lower points and does add some reinforcement to the subframe, but a tie bar that comes with the sway bar like progress's, comptech's, neuspeed's,works better than a tie bar. There are a lot of tie bars out there.
They're all almost the same, connects the two LCA bolts, and ties them together.. there's Spoon sports, Skunk2, DC.
But Comptech low tie connects on the bottom of chasis.
Picture of Spoon low tie bar and comptech low tie.

If anybody is planning to buy Comptech sway bar itself.
Look into buy low tie bar.
skunk2 one will be the best bet for the money.

    Great info Civicvtec1ps ... thanks.

The Skunk2 bar looks like this ... wrong car, I know, but you can see that it looks very similar in design to the Spoon:

This combined with the CTR sway shoud be great.
