an actuator can be used with a remote(like your alarm) or a large magnet can be used(old style). The actuator would unlock and pop your door open.

but i mean.. wut if one day ur remote runs out of battery or something. then ur scrweed? at least if our remote doesn't work, we can always use our keys.

isn't shaving the door handles a late eighties/early nineties mod? kinda reminds me of the neon lights around the license plate?

what kind of wreck was it and what was damaged? also if you dont mind what was the insurance est. My Si has been gone for over a month and parts are still on order. Just hope you dont need the piece that the radiators attach to and where your hood latch is. I forget what its called but my shop has been waiting forever on it and its one of the main pieces they need to start putting the car back together. Good luck and try to post some pics. BTW-I am not going to say 'glad to hear you are ok' because I started to get pissed when I heard that from everyone.

my damage was on the passenger side messed my EP up pretty bad, but the bodyshop said it would be done ina few weeks

hey i think shaved door handles are pretty nice, even if they are old, i think it makes the car look clean, as for being worried your shit wont open, the kits have backup openers, just in case your battery dies, theres a hidden manual door latch, check out speedracer's car in the members page, hes got a white si with the doors handles photoshopped off, looks pretty good
