    140mph runs.

Ok everyone. I have been getting some e-mails about posting some vids of the EP running Guardian. So, here is some video that I shot over the past couple of days. Most of them are all gear runs. We have been doing some calibration testing and wanted to make sure that it worked all the way to the top. This is also our new turbo kit for the EP. It is a return less system. So no more need of running the return line and modifying the in tank pump.

In this video you see Guardian at work. This one was shot during the calibration testing for the stage II's so there is a little fat spot that you will here. This of course as been corrected but I have not had a chance to shoot more video as of yet. I will make sure to post when I get some more up close shots of Guardian.

To view these videos you will need a divx player. You can get a free player from www.divx.com .

This one is an all gear run. The only daytime run of the bunch. EP Hatch @ 10psi. Stock clutch, stock fuel pump, stock pistons and rods, 550cc injectors.

Another all gear run but this time at night. It is a little hard to see, but in this video you can see the read out of the Guardian interface while I am running the car. EP Hatch @ 10psi.

This is a rollon up to 140mph. EP Hatch @ 10psi.

i have just one major question:
how will the guardian react in an EP3 with an A2 head/ecu swap? i've read a few posts where someone on k-series.com supposedly called you folks, and was told that the a2 head swap was bad, because it supposedly had oil squirters in the head which couldn't function correctly in an ep3, etc etc etc, which we all know is not true. is anything being done to accomodate those of us doing the head swap? will the guardian be able to auto compensate for having real vtec and a higher redline on the a3 block, or we will be stuck having to leave the guardian out of the mix and tune entirely on the k-pro? i'm really hoping you folks are taking this into account, and have something planned, because in my opinion, you make superior turbo setups for our cars compared to the other companies out there, and i am really looking forward to having my car boosted by one of your kits in the near future.

No one from here said anything like that. Especially considering that there are no oil squirters in the head, they are in the block. And they are not in the base or Si block (K20A3) they only come in the Type-S blocks (K20A2). That being said, Guardian will work fine on an Si that had the head swapped.

Guardian does not care what rpm you are running or when v-tech comes in. It will still auto tune the car regardless.

Well, as I said, someone on k-series had said they called you folks and was told that. Not tryin to point fingers, nor do I really care. That being said, that's very good news that it will be able to handle it, and I look forward to buying my kit from you folks in the near future :)

that's the current price.... In another thread here on ephatch Boost Junkie said the stage I kit will be about $3600 with the Guardian instead of the S-AFC II once they start selling it.

I guess since guardian dosen't need the inline fuel pump and they make it instead of reselling an afc their able to still make their money AND drop the price AND give you a better product for it. :D

    I'm ok with that...

    Eric :D
