    stereo install

    how do you take out the factory head unit?

    un screw the knob then pop the lowerdash out with a screw driver the unscrew the top part take off the ac knobs and your done its not hard at all

    when you pop off the lower portion with a screwdriver don't you get little nicks and cuts in the black plasitc and on the silver section as well?

    i have the carbon dash so i duno if its nicks the silver paint of if your careful i owuld think not

    be extremely careful it chips easily i did am putting on the carbon fiber dash

    DON'T use a screw driver!!!!!!!!

    Unscrew the knob then reach in the shift boot pushing it back inside the dash a bit, then grab it firmly on both sides of the shift opening and pull. I pulls out somewhat easily.
