    help with rims

I just got my set of rota c10s a couple days ago. I got them for a pretty good price, but it isn't the color that I wanted. I wanted to where, if is possible, I could get them professionally painted the color I wanted. And where I can get some new lug nuts for them also

any body shop could paint them, or you could find a powder coating place. the powder coating would be more durable. and you are probably looking at 30-50 bucks per wheel. may be cheaper to sell these and put that with the cost of painting/coating and buy the color you want.

you could just paint them yourself. what color did you want, and what color did you get?

    as for lugs, http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101

im using those in black. can't complain for $30. i had some Kyokugen's but the key is kinda crappy and began to strip so i got some of those. they work great. you want the 12x1.5 fyi.

I got the rims in reflex silver and I want bronze. I pained the stock rims and it started peeling real quick. Do you think that the different material will help?

    And thanks for the site!

well if you prep the wheel right the paint should hold on pretty well.

why dont you sell the rims you have and get the proper color?

i know www.inlinefour.com and other local places that sell Rotas for dirt cheap. there's a now new color called Sport Bronze where its a polished bronze lip with a regular bronze center.
for whatever finish, the prices are all the same. maybe contact inlinefour and work out a deal??

btw, how much DID you get your rims and from where?

i say this because after paying to powdercoat them or whatever, you'll have wasted your money and time.

    imo, sell them!
