Lightbulb Are Eibach Sportline the best for daily use?

    Hi Guys,

I purchased an 02 SI over the weekend, and I already have the itch to drop it... I've searched, but I haven't seen any post that specifically related to only one spring. I'm looking for a spring in the 1.5" - 1.75" that will not blow the stock struts, and give a nice ride. Right now I think the Eibach sportline springs are the way to go, but I've heard of the drop being uneven (sag in rear)... I want to go with a well known brand... Please post your comment and pics on stock rims.... Thanks in advance...

when i had sportlines i loved them. the ride is not harsh but the drop wasnt enough for me. it was about 1.5" in the front and the rear was just a bit higher. they are great for daily use. didnt have to buy a camber kit either. so yea i would recommend the sportlines.

I have sportlines and cant get the rear camber to spec. I'm actually going out in 5 minutes to install a rear camber kit :)

Nice... Thanks... Hey 02civicSI did you have the stock rims/tires on your ride when you had the sportlines?... Do you have any pics so I can get an idea how they'll look...

i have had the sportlines on my car for about a year now, and they are still as smooth, perfect and firm as new. you will have a very smooth, almost stock like ride, except when you get in the twisties, and youll feel a big difference. there is no sag, front and rear are perfect, about 1.6" drop. you dont need a camber kit. i have no adverse tire wear whatsoever. make sure you get a good alignment, from pros after they are installed. i had my honda dealership install them for me, and they used those new laser guided alignment machines.

i use my stock wheels/tires from late fall to spring, and even with the stock wheels/tires, you will definitely be stylin, the ep looks really nice like that. people tell me that with the stocks on, my car looks really low and japanese, lol. with the summer bling wheels, it looks "californian" lol. peeps.

just to be different.. I got the Tein S Tech springs.. rated 1 1/2" drop

and as for everyday driving.. I drive probably more than anyone on here. My car 30K miles, its an 03 and I've had the springs on for about 25 of those 30K. No squeaks, pops, or anything like that. Great stuff!!

Nice rides everyone! I was on Tein springs for about 6 months and the ride was perfect. My shocks were still ok, no big camber problems, definitely great springs. I would expect the same from the Eibach sportlines, they were my 2nd choice ;) :D . I've heard nothing but positive feedback on em.
