looooooking GOOOOOD!!! keep up the good work!
DETERMINATION! i tell ya DETERMINATION!!! glad u got em on!
After about 4 months of getting the runaround from my local auto body (who ended up NOT installing them for me) and 1 month of hiding these from my parents and trying to find time here and there, i decided to get off ephatch.com and get these skirts on.
it took me about 3.5 hours to just fit them, drill holes and sand and clean up. (they arent even exactly how i want them, BUT close enough)
at first i was going to sell these because i didnt feel like putting them on, but now that they are on. i love them! it really makes the car look flatter and shorter...anyways im just really happy i was determined about them instead of giving up.
they cost 150 from davidt and i got a good deal in getting them pained for 100 bucks. 150+100= 250 =o)
so, down to pros and cons. Pros: my car looks 10000x better than it used to, i didnt pay 500+ for the real stuff. CONs: because i didnt pay 500+ i had to exert a lot of extra time/energy to get these on. i have a nagging doubt that these are gonna fall off. Im gonna screw the rear piece in later on.
so yeah, i just had to share
:D
now....go ahead and shower me with complements..i wont mind!;) :D

iuno...at first i just put them on...and wherever there was a gap, and just a little piece of fiberglass touching...i would sand that off until everything laid as close as possible...Originally posted by plpong893

what part of your car is that ? i have a problem w/ my skirts as well. but its nothing a lil sanding would fix. mine needed sanding where the star is (the curve part of the body)

dont hate on my impervised version of paint =O/
it shouldnt matter what part of the skirt its at. anywhere where there is ill-fittage (for lack of better words) its because there is something keeping it from being flush. your task is to find which part is keeping the edge from touching the car.Originally posted by Ep3 No.2
