I'd go with 215/45
The extra sidewall will allow for a smoother ride than a 40 series tire
i was just bought some rims and was wondering what the best size tire was for a 17x7 wheel thanks
I'd go with 215/45

im rolling with the same tire size...and the same rims!...just make sure your car isnt too low because im running 215 45 17's and when i have people in the back or i hit hardcore bumps my rear scraps/hits the inner little fender thingy that about an inch long in the rear...
option 1: negative camber in the rear (which isnt bad at all unless its hardcore negative camber...from what ive heard a little is good)
option 2: which i did...i went to a body shop and they trimmed that inch piece under the rear wheel well..and i have 0 camber in my rear i dont like uneven treadwear...so thats what i did...
i got 17's and have the 215/45 and i went with option 1Originally posted by team ERA 5

thanks for the reply guys i think i should go with the 45's
the 215/45-17s will keep you the closest to the stock tire diameter, so you're speedometer will read only about 1.7 percent too slow.
not that it makes that big of a deal but i thought attacks were 17x7.5 cause mines are.
