clear coat smoked tails?

I plan on smoking my tail lights with VHT tint spray but was wondering if clear coat would be recommended afterwerds?

also does anyone have a DIY on how to remove the back tail lights with pics?

To remove the rear bumper there ar two screws at the top of the bumper then it's clipped all the way round. You just have to pull on it to get it off. When i get home i will look at the clear coat i used and post it for you. I sprayed like 3 coats of tint, 3 coats of clear, the used 1500 grit wet and dry to get the paint smooth. The used cutting compoud to get them looking like they came like that stock. Wait like 10 days after you put the clear coat on to cut the paint down so that it has time to harden.
